The Who - New Band (1964)
Like most bands in the 60's, The Who known when often times appear in concerts. At a concert at the Railway Tavern in Harrow and Wealdstone, London, Townshend accidentally destroying his guitar head and he laughed at by the audience. Angered by the audience response, Townshend makes a surprise action by destroying continue the guitar on stage. When the next concert is held, the audience called for Townshend smash his guitar, but he refused to do so. As a result the audience screams mocking Townshend, Moon finally has destroyed his drum set. Starting then, every concert is held by The Who would be followed by the destructive action of their music equipment.

Most of the songs are actually a lot of The Who written by Pete Townshend and John Entwistle also donated his work. While Roger Daltrey and Keith Moon contributed only little from most of the works The Who. Their first hits song was "I Can't explain" published through the album "MY GENERATION" in 1965. Album My Generation and A Quick One was included in the top five best-selling British album. Their first song that the Top 40 United States is "Happy Jack" followed by "I Can See for Miles" that included in the Top 10 in the same year.

In 1978, one of the members of The Who drummer Keith Moon who is this band has died at the age of 32 years. Finally, the vacancy has been filled by a new drummer Kenney Jones and they could meriliskan two albums before officially breaking up in 1983.
The Who - Britania Band
After the split, they have done several times a reunion but only for important events only, such as, Live Aid concert, the 25th anniversary of the establishment in 1989 and Quadrophenia tour in 1996 and 1997. In 2000, they plan to make a comeback, but the show was canceled due to the death of another member of their band, John Entwistle the age of 57 years in 2002.
